This is a prosumer grade advanced HDMI video and audio product for advanced HDMI receiver home theater application. This VHD-U4X1AS Prosumer 4x1 Switch with Audio Extraction is the best multi-functional, versatile and powerful HDMI switch designed for the most demanding HDMI native audio and video enjoyment. VHD-U4X1AS is the latest high-performance 4K switch that can also be used as an HDMI v 1.4 4x2 switch & splitter both outputs will have same video and audio signals identical to the selected HDMI input signal up to 4K@30Hz.

Output B is HDMI v 1.4 (support video formats up to 4K@30Hz with HDCP 1.4 ) and output A is HDMI v 2.0 (support video formats up to 4K@60Hz with HDCP 2.2 ). If the input signal is HDMI v 2.0 the output A is still identical to the input signal output B will only contain HDMI audio signal and video will be a 720P blue-screen. The design of the output B is to support HDMI v 1.3 /v 1.4 /v 2.0 audio receivers when input signal is HDMI v 2.0 so that there is no need to upgrade to HDMI v 2.0 receiver when using the newest HDMI v 2.0 display.

Just connect output A to the HDMI v 2.0 display and connect output B to the HDMI v 1.3, v 1.4 or the newest HDMI v 2.0 receiver for audio application. The HDMI output A driver has seven built-in timing settings to address various compatibility issues in different use conditions please check the user manual for details if experiencing video issues on output A.
