For sound shaping with feedback reduction and tons of excellent features, the Tonebone AC-Driver is the one pedal you need. Great for the gigging acoustic player, this awesome preamp has more to offer than meets the eye. Sound ShapingThe AC-Driver is a performance ready preamp that sports studio quality sound. This pedal receives input from your instrument and can run out to both an on-stage amplifier through the ¼ output jack and a mixing console or a PA powered speaker through the XLR output. If this causes additional hum, you engage can the LIFT switch to break up ground loops which occur between two powered devices.
Feedback ReductionAny acoustic player knows it can be a challenge to achieve the proper levels on stage while also minimizing feedback. This is especially true when there are other non-acoustic instruments involved. The AC-Driver features a 180 degree polarity reverse and a Notch Filter to combat the feedback and let you play full out, rocking acoustic. Excellent FeaturesBesides shaping your sound and removing feedback from the live equation, the Tonebone AC-Driver has some additional features to help you out. A Mute footswitch turns off all outputs except the tuner, which can be used for quiet on-stage tuning.
You can also roll-off excessive low end with the low-cut filter. Under the hood this pedal has just as much quality. The pedal is built from 14-gauge steel with I-beam construction so it can' t get torqued. The military grade circuit board is unbelievably durable and fully grounded to reduce radio frequency interference. All-in-all, this is one tough, handy pedal to have in an acoustic rig.
