This compact charcoal set contains 2 compressed charcoal pencils, 4 natural charcoal willow sticks, 3 compressed charcoal sticks, and a kneadable eraser. The charcoal pencils provide deep, rich values in an easy-to-control pencil for detailed drawing. The compressed sticks offer the highest quality and the deepest possible black strokes. Produced from a fine mixture of soot and charcoal, compressed charcoal sticks are especially suited for large areas and dark values. Natural willow charcoal works great for traditional sketching, quick design layout, and can be mostly wiped away or erased when desired.
