The Active Air inline duct fans incorporate Brushless thermally protected AC motors with sealed for life Bearings (will not require any lubrication). The Hydrofarm Active Air In-line Fan Speed Controller was designed especially to work with centrifugal fans. By controlling the fan’s speed and noise level, this controller will help prevent damage to fan motors, ensuring a longer life for the motor. However you’re using the fan, from ventilating plants in a grow room to cooling yourself at your desk to keeping air moving in your kitchen or baby’s nursery The controller plugs into a 3-prong wall outlet, and the fan plugs into the controller for a simple, quick setup.
