Created by physical therapists Bob Schrupp and Brad Heineck, the Hanging Handles are a simple, easy way to perform exercises to help decompress the thoracic and lumbar spine (mid- and low-back) and promote the health and range of motion of the shoulders.
This all-in-one kit includes wall anchors, clips, handles and mounting hardware. Designed to withstand 275 lbs. each, the Hanging Handles are easy to assemble and can be used for a variety of simple, fast exercises you can do on a daily basis.
Passive hanging helps decompress your thoracic and lumbar spine (mid and lower back) and can be used to help treat shoulder pain caused by shoulder impingement. Regular hanging exercise can also promote grip strength, shoulder stability, core stability and even improved posture. Additional uses include stretching and core exercise. Adjust level of decompression by hanging with feet on or off the ground.
