- Universal Wiring Harness designed to work with any 568A or 568B Network Cabling Plan
- 12 inch in length and designed to split a standard single Ethernet cable into 4 separate circuits so as to avoid running additional cables for expansion. Typically, the male plug of one EZ80003333 Cheater Cord is inserted into an outlet on the “House” Patch Panel (near the data switch or router). Then, the 4 jacks of the cord are fed by 4 different signals such as generic Single Line Telephones, Single Central Office Trunks or Digital PBX extension circuits that use Pins 4 & 5 (like NEC & Avaya). Another EZ80003333 Cheater Cord is then plugged into the wall outlet at the destination location where it’s broken down into 4 separate jacks and 4 separate circuits again
- Jack #1: Pins 4 &5 = C.O. Trunks, 2-wire telephones, Fax Machines, Modems, POS – anything that use the center pair (pins 4&5)
- Jack #2: Pins 4 &5 = C.O. Trunks, 2-wire telephones, Fax Machines, Modems, POS – anything that use the center pair (pins 4&5)
- Jack #3: Pins 4 &5 = C.O. Trunks, 2-wire telephones, Fax Machines, Modems, POS – anything that use the center pair (pins 4&5)
- Jack #4: Pins 4 &5 = C.O. Trunks, 2-wire telephones, Fax Machines, Modems, POS – anything that use the center pair (pins 4&5)
- The final result is a universal wiring scheme that can be plugged directly into any 568a or 568b patch panel
- Each EZ80003333 Cheater Cord has an 8-pin RJ45 plug and four (4) 8-pin RJ45 jacks that are color-coded in BLACK with the single term “2W-TEL” for EZ identification.
