Alligator Records presents the remastered reissue of their all-time best-selling title on 180g vinyl! The internationally renowned iconic blues guitarist Buddy Guy has over 2.3 million career units scanned. 2010's Living Proof has scanned 85,000 copies.
Buddy Guy is a pioneer of the Chicago blues sound and has served as an influence to some of the most notable musicians of his generation, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. In the 1960s Guy was a member of Muddy Waters' band and as a house guitarist at Chess Records.
Guy is ranked 30th in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. "A native of the Baton Rouge area, he combined a blazing modernism with a fierce grip on his roots, playing frantic leads heavy with swampy funk on Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" and Koko Taylor's "Wang Dang Doodle" as well as on his own Chess sides and the fine series of records he made with harp man Junior Wells." - Rolling Stone Magazine
"The artist at his frantic and frenzied best...savage guitar and fiery vocals" - Rolling Stone
