Tower
tower manufacturing 30338018 18" length, 15 amp in-line gfci cord set with auto reset and single connectors
The Tower Manufacturing 30338018 model 18-inch, 15 amp, ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) cord set converts standard electrical outlets and extension cords into GFCIs to help protect users from shock, electrical fire, or electrocution. It is a portable, single-connector cord set for instant GFCI protection and works with any standard 3-wire outlet, or connects to any stranded junior thermoplastic weather-resistant (SJTW) extension cord. It has a red LED power indicator, a test/reset button that allows for periodic testing to ensure operability, and an auto-reset function. The cord set operates at 125V/60Hz with 15 amp service and is Underwriters Laboratory (UL and cUL) listed and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant. It is National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) rated for indoor use in offices, schools, labs, homes, and on construction sites. When used according to manufacturer? s recommendations, this product is covered by a two-year warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI) are used to monitor the amount of current going to and returning from equipment flowing through a circuit. If the flow is irregular, GFCIs interrupt the current. They help to prevent electrical fires and to reduce the risk of shock, burns, or electrocution. Designed to shut off power within 1/30th of a second, they are used with power tools, on construction sites, and near water sources in homes (kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms). Tower Manufacturing manufactures electromechanical devices in company-owned facilities in Shenzhen, China and Providence, RI. The company, founded in 1957, is headquartered in Providence, RI. Tower products include ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), appliance switches, thermostats, wiring devices, and other connectors, controls and electrical devices.

tower manufacturing 30338024 2' length, 15 amp in-line gfci and triple tap cord set with auto reset
The two-foot Tower Manufacturing 15-amp 125V cord set has a three-prong National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 5-15P plug to connect to grounded outlets, and provides three grounded NEMA 5-15R taps to plug in electrical tools and devices. Its safety yellow color is for high visibility, and the cord set complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for safety at construction sites and in industrial environments. The cord set comes equipped with an inline ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), which disconnects a circuit upon detecting an unbalanced current for increased safety, and it automatically resets for ease of use. An LED indicator informs users when the power is on. The 12/3 American Wire Gauge (AWG), Standard Junior Thermoplastic with weather-resistant jacket (SJTW) cord is durable and rainproof for both outdoor and indoor use. The cord set meets Canadian and United States Underwriters Laboratories standards for quality assurance.
