The RME AVB Tool is a tool that takes four analog audio sources and converts them to digital signals that can be streamed over Ethernet AVB or MADI. It offers four XLR-1/4" inputs that can accommodate signals from Hi-Z instruments, microphones, and line-level sources. It also offers two 1/4" line outputs and a headphone output. On the digital side, you'll find MADI offered over BNC or optical (over SFP) connections, as well as an Ethernet port for up to 128 channels of AVB. You'll also find clocking I/O over BNC connections. The analog section offers a professional, pristine sound, with up to 75 dB of gain in 1 dB steps, as well as an input line-level sensitivity of +18 dBu. Each input can be switched to handle signal from DI guitars, line-level keyboards, or microphones. On the AVB side, you can make use of eight streams in AM824 or AAF formats. The two MADI sections can run independently, or can be mirrored to facilitate redundancy. Designed to provide professional audio over digital networks, the RME 12 Mic offers 12 channels of high-quality audio microphone preamps with MADI and ABV connections. You get preamps for mic, line-level, and instrument sources; preamps that can output digitally through a variety of different connections. It does this in a compact 1 RU housing and with the ability to control all of its routing capabilities wirelessly when configured into a wireless network. Each of its 12 pad-free input stages offer a 75 dB range of transparent gain. You'll find four combination XLR-1/4" inputs and eight XLR inputs. Selecting among line level, mic level, or instrument level is made possible by the front-panel control menu or can be done wirelessly on any network link via the web interface. Its extremely flexible configuration through TotalMix FX will simplify workflow and greatly increase the usability of the RME interface in most real world situations.The ARC USB is a USB 1.1 (UAC1) MIDI remote control, natively compatible to Windows and Mac OS X. As soon as it is present in the operating system TotaIMix FX will detect it and communicate with it, without disturbing other remote controls. Therefore it is also not necessary to switch the ARC USB on or off within TotalMix FX - it will just work. And because it communicates with TotalMix FX (via USB) it is compatible to all RME audio interfaces that are detected and supported by TotalMix FX. This goes back to RME interfaces released 2001! As soon as the ARC USB is connected to a computer any button press or wheel turning will cause the respective action performed by TotalMix FX - and therefore also by the RME audio interface.With the UFX+ and UFX II the ARC USB can also be connected directly to these devices, currently the only RME interfaces having an internal USB 1.1 host with matching connector. This way of connecting is handy in stand-alone mode, where the ARC USB is also supported by the UFX+ and UFX II.The ARC USB is bus powered, but draws only little current. Also it uses USB 1.1 as bus standard, which these days is uncritical due to its lower frequency and speed demands. USB 2 cables with 5 meter to 10 meter length and cheap USB 2 cable extensions that usually make a bus-powered interface fail will work perfectly for the ARC USB. Still at higher lengths RME recommends to use active USB 2 cables (also called extension or repeater cables), which are not expensive and work over lengths of more than 20 meters.The ARC USB can control several interfaces simultaneously, which happens automatically as the Key Commands dialog in TotalMix FX is specific to the currently selected audio interface. Just assign only the functions that are desired for each respective interface. After that the ARC USB keys and the encoder wheel remote the respective interface where they have been assigned to, without the need to further switch or select anything in normal operation.

Ferrofish B4000+ Authentic Organ Sound Module with MIDI-MIDI Cable Bundle
The B4000+ Bundle packs the legendary Hammond B3 organ into an ultra compact box. Nobody would build a guitar without a neck, without it, it just will not work. That’s why we’ve developed the B4000+, with nine drawbars: to touch, to screw, but most important: to play! Based on one of the best and most powerful digital signal processors on the market, the Sharc DSP by Analog Devices, the sound and warmth of the B3 has been carefully recreated down to the last detail – with all the electrical and mechanical inefficiencies that made the instrument a legend. Just as the real organ with voluminous bass belly, defined mids and indispensable “scream” in the heights: the authentic sound of a living electromechanical B3. The B4000+ simulates all 91 Tonewheels, if desired, with crosstalk, and mechanical wear. All of course fully polyphonic, with scanner vibrato, tube amp and reverb, and not to forget the legendary Leslie. Everything perfectly simulated and adjusted. Only the weight of the original B3 we have reduced a bit. Two keyboards can be directly connected to the MIDI ports of the B4000+ without a MIDI merger, for playing both the upper and lower manual. For a full featured B3 simulation, a pedal manual can added too, making up to three manuals that can be played simultanously, with full polyphony. A pedal can be added for external volume control, also a switch for sustain or rotary speed control. If only one keyboard is used, its still possible to play two manuals by using the internal split mode.
