Meet the JVC GY-HM180U Ultra 4K HD 4KCAM Professional Camcorder, an affordable, full-featured 4K Ultra HD camcorder thats small and light enough to take with you everywhere. Working with 4K has never been easier! Insert an SDHC/SDXC (UHS-I Speed class 3) memory card into one or both memory card slots and record hours of 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) material. Recordings are made using the Quicktime (.MOV) file format and are compatible with many popular editing systems. An integrated 12x optical zoom lens and 1/2.3-inch 4K CMOS sensor deliver stunning 4K Ultra HD. The GY-HM180U can record at 4:2:2 HD signals up to 24-60p at 50Mbps making it ideal for general HD production work. To meet the needs of professional applications, manual control rings, user assignable buttons and a wide variety of connectors, such as HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI outputs have been incorporated into the design of the GY-HM180Us body. The top handle unit features two 3-pin XLR inputs that allow you to attach balanced microphones or wireless audio inputs. Each input supports line, microphone, and mic +48 selections with independent gain control for accepting input from different audio sources.

The ultra high quality imagery begins with a precision 12x F1.2-3.5 optical zoom lens (35mm equivalent: 29.6-355mm). When shooting in the HD mode, Dynamic Zoom combines optical zoom and pixel mapping from a 4K image sensor to create seamless and lossless 24x zoom. This allows the camera to have a long zoom range while retaining its compact form factor. Dynamic Zoom combines Optical Zoom plus Pixel Mapping -- focusing on a smaller image area for lossless 24x Zoom. HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI Output:
The GY-HM180 comes with a wide variety of connectors to meet the needs of professional applications, including HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI.
