The STLINK-V3SET also provides a Virtual COM port interface allowing the host PC to communicate with the target microcontroller through a UART as well as several bridge interfaces for programming the target MCU through the bootloader. Its modular architecture based on extension cards such as the complimentary adapter board makes the STLINK-V3SET futureproof. The STLINK-V3SET directly supports JTAG and SWD debug interfaces with an STDC14 connector coupled with MIPI10, MIPI20, and STDC14 flat cables. The complimentary adapter board adds support for the SWIM interface and provides a multi-path bridge with a variety of communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, and GPIOs) which helps you easily reprogram devices anywhere.
