Audio Amp LM380N-14 Kit - RCA Input & 2 Pin Screw Termial Output

This is the 2.5 Watt Audio Power Amplifier Kit. It includes the very popular LM380 Audio Power Amplifier, 14-Pin IC rated at 2.5 Watts. This is a single-channel amplifier with RCA inputs and 2Pin Screw terminal outputs. It includes a panel-mount volume control so that the device can be mounted in an enclosure. This Amp Kit has been designed so that there are 3 different style of input connectors and 2 different styles of output connectors to choose from. For example, you may chose a 1/4" Phono input and a 2-pin Screw Terminal output. Or you may chose a 2-pin Screw Terminal for the input and an RCA jack for the output. This gives you great flexibility. It was designed to fit in several of the popular enclosures, such as the PAC TEC FXT-4624 or the Hammond 1598BSGY. This is probably the world's most popular Audio Power Amplifier Integrated Circuit ever made. The gain is internally fixed at 34 dB. A unique input stage allows ground referenced input signals. The output automatically self-centers to one-half the supply voltage. The Output Power is rated for 2.5 Watts with a THD of 0.2%. Uses include MP3 output amplifiers, guitar amplifiers, simple phonograph amplifiers, intercoms, line drivers, teaching machine outputs, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio, small servo drivers, power converters, etc. This kit is also offered with a "Built & Tested" option for those that do not want to build the kit themselves. The PCB is 1.2" long x 3.0" wide made of .062" FR-4 epoxy glass. All holes are plated through. The traces are wide to withstand numerous circuit changes. This kit does not include the tools you will need to assemble the circuit. You will need tools such as a soldering iron, solder, wire cutters, etc.
