The AS1B is a single shelf component wall mounting system. It can be used as a stand-alone product or in conjunction with a Plasma/LCD mounting system. This unit is designed to fit under the display in order to provide an on-wall solution for your components such as cable boxes, satellite receivers, game consoles, DVD/Blu-ray players etc. The AS1B is made from an aluminum center column and unbreakable steel shelves. There is one 2.25" hole on the aluminum plate that allows cables to be routed discretely behind the center column of the unit, creating a clean and modern look. Purchase of the AS1B also includes one 15' Twisted Veins HDMI cable. Cheetah shelving units can be mounted directly into drywall or into wooden studs allowing you to position them exactly where you want them under the TV. This shelving unit is able to hold 22 lbs safely. Please note that a good toggle bolt is still only as good as the quality of the drywall it is mounted into.
